I forgot to tell ya....I'm going to be a grandma! I've known for awhile but my daughter and her husband needed to tell some people before I blogged about it. Then I just didn't get around to it. We've had such a busy and fun summer!
The only thing Fern and I asked of her was not to have a winter baby because our winters are unpredictable (they live 3 1/2 hours away). Sometimes they are fairly mild while others bring lots of snow or ice. Guess what? She's due December 22. Don't ya just hate it when your kids don't listen!
They aren't going to find out what it is. My daughter wants to do it the old fashioned way and be surprised. Boys run in her husband's family as his dad doesn't have any sisters, Brad has only brothers and his brother has 2 boys. I also think she's having a boy because of the heartbeat and the way she is carrying. We just want a healthy baby. So, I'll have to go to my daughters this Christmas to get my Christmas present.

Oh congratulations!!! That is such exciting news! My parents lived 12 hours away when I had Graham, I called them the minute I went into labor and they made it there with an hour to spare. You'll be fine!
What wonderful news! A Christmas baby, how exciting. When Hayley was born it was snow/ice and we managed to get to the hospital in Peru. She was born on the coldest day of that year! It's amazing what you can do when you HAVE to. Enjoy all the fun planning leading up to the baby!
How exciting!!! Congratulations!!! Babies are the best!! :)
We'll be Grammies together!! How fun!

Congratulations!!
Don't forget...you also got to feel the baby kick over the weekend =)
Okay, Grannie- big congratulations to you!! You'll have such fun spoiling that baby, I'm sure. Best wishes to your daughter, as well.

Congratulations!!! How exciting! I love baby news! You will the best grandma : )
Congrads. I love the idea it will be a surprise. When I had my son, I knew what I was having but did not tell. It was fun to see what people thought. Even a nurse who said she always guessed right, was wrong.LOL What a wonderful way to start the new year.
Congrats on the wonderful news. How exciting. Thanks for the compliment on Ireland. I think I'm blessed. :)
Congratulations! That is such great news and the PERFECT Christmas gift!!
