Hydrangea Tree

In all the years we have lived here we never knew what kind of tree this was until this year. We have actually had people stop and asked us what kind it is.
We now know this is a Hydrangea tree. Perhaps most of you already knew that.

Starts to bloom in July. I don't think they are too popular where we live. Isn't she a beauty?

I love hydrangeas, and had no idea there was a tree variety of them. I have a couple of hydrangeas but due to our poor soil quality they don't put on many blooms, the price we pay for having so many oak trees in our yard that suck all the nutrients out of the dirt! Lucky you, enjoy that luscious looking tree!

Pretty! It's actually still a shrub but they train it as a tree. I have a Rose of Sharon Tree that is the same way. Either way, it's GORGEOUS!
