Todays post is brought to you by the letter W

W-for removal of wallpaper border that is. I'm working in the master bath this week. I'm staring with the wallpaper boarder. It came off so easy. I just tore it off, sprayed water on the backing that stayed and then used the back of a spatula to remove it. My wallpaper days are a thing of the past.

Now can you guess what is going up here instead once I paint where the paper was? I'll give you a hint...it will have lots of letters. It will be awhile for the big reveal 'cause I tend to do more than one project at a time. Does anyone else do that? Even when cleaning I end up in another room before I'm done with the one I started. Don't know why.

Here's the kids bathroom. I started in here last week. I've been wanting to paint the vanity but wasn't sure of the best black paint to use until I saw Dot's black cabinets over at Picket's Place. I just love the way it turned out. Makes it look so much richer I think.

I'm not sure what color I am going to paint the walls so I decided to tackle the master bath. Then again I should be packing as we are going away....I wonder why I do this??

O, I, too, hate wallpaper and borders with a passion. Mine are always so hard to remove. Lucky you that yours came off easy.
I love your black cabinet...perfect!!

Thanks for the birthday wishes for the hubby. Your cabinets are gorgeous. How did you paint them? I keep wanting to paint mine but I'm still chicken. Where in Ill. are you again? David is in Bloomington-Normal. We're going up there in alittle over a week for 6 weeks. Recommend anything special to see while we're there?
