I bought this fabric at Hobby Lobby last weekend. (Thanks Shannon). I've wanted it for awhile now and had admired it on a few blogs. I had seen it at Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago but wasn't sure it was the right one. I asked Shannon from Bless Our Nest where she got hers and she said Hobby Lobby so then I knew it was "the one"! I'm glad I waited. It went from $24.99 a yard to being on clearance for $13.00 a yard!
My problem now is what color do I paint the walls? I had brick red curtains before and the golden yellow seemed o.k. with that but now it all blends together with my light colored furniture. I would love to paint the dining room set black but we spent a small fortune on it and I don't think Hubby would want me to. So I will leave it the way it is and eventually change the fabric on the seats.
Should I go with something in the brown family or with that new blue everyone seems to love? I've never considered myself a blue kind of gal but maybe it is the new thing?

Lastly, Carrie from Buzzings of a Queen Bee is looking for this fabric also. Her local Hobby Lobby is out. So if anyone can help her I'm sure she would appreciate it. If you have never been to her blog go over and say Hi. She is such a sweetie and she has two darling little ones. Oh, and she has great decorating ideas too.

Thanks girls!! That was so sweet of you to give me a shout out, and of course I love that I might get some help from the land of blogging to find my fabric. Shannon already offered to check her Hobby Lobby for me...maybe if they have it, I can call there and have them send it or something. I SO appreciate your help! :)

Oh and P.S. I think that blue that everyone is using would be so pretty with the fabric, but then a brown would be great too...that color that The Nester is always talking about, "Tobacco Road" by Duron. Check out her blog to see how pretty it looks with that material!

Love the fabric!! I think blue would look awesome! I am wishing I had done one of our rooms in blue....my hubby wasn't too fond of the blue idea....so we are sticking with a golden color.
Can't wait to find out what you decide!
Oooohh, I love that fabric too. I definitely think you should get a contrast in there. Everything is too similar now. White beadboard would be VERY pretty along the lower half of the room. I say go with that blue. If you go to the Pottery Barn website, you can find "the one" shade that is perfect in that fabulous light blue. {Trust me, because I did my bedroom that blue a few years ago, but I just guessed, and it ended up like baby blue.NOT what I was going for!!}
Can't wait to see it when you're finished!
Hi, Twins! Love your new windows, that is some pretty fabric. You could always just go really neutral with an antique white in there or a slightly taupe look with something like Latte from Sherwin Williams, which would be a little more brown. I love the soft blues too & that might really look good with your fabric and the furniture since it is sorta golden in color. There are some great blue/gray colors out there, like Sea Salt, SW.
I love that fabric too! I found mine at Bed BAth and Beyond. Its kinda like y'alls but a bit different. AS far as the color you could do so many different things. I went the route of blue. It has taken me a bit of getting use to because I was always a green kind of person. One small note of advise. Take your time... by a small amount and paint. Live with it for a day or two. Watch how it changes with the light. .....{note to self...use own advise}. Hehe. Im so not the one to ask for paint advise. I have changed colors so many times. My husband thinks I love to paint. Not! Have fun and I cant wait to see what you decide. Good luck~
I so wish that I had a Hobby Lobby nearby. That fabric is so cute! I think that a brown would look great. I think that your furniture would look nice with it also. ~ Robyn
I think you should paint the dining room furniture black! Black looks SO great all the time. I think your husband would love it! I have never NOT liked anything painted black : )
I don't know what the new blue is so I can't comment on that : ).
