Have you ever drank coffee from a percolator? It's the best. My mother in law has a stainless steel 12 cup percolator. I think she's been using it over 30 years. Her coffee is the absolute best. I have the corning ware percolator but it's not that pretty to look at so I store it in the cabinet. I always forget I have it so it hasn't seen much use.
I got this 8 cup from Kohls it's made by Paula Deen. Isn't she pretty? This gal will be staying out on the stove for all to see! Now for those who aren't coffee drinkers, you could always toss in a few tea bags instead of coffee. Like iced tea? Let the tea cool and pour over ice. And for you southern gals, I suspect you'll be adding a lot of sugar 'cause y'all love your sweet tea!

Oh, you just brought back SO many memories for me! My parents used one forever! Those darn ugly coffee makers replaced that bubbling beautiful pitcher on the stove.
Thank you!
I have been keeping my eye on the same one, but in red!!! I think I may have to get it now....you have convinced me!
So cute and so wonderful to have too!! :)
We only bring out our perk when we are camping and we always comment on how great camping coffee is. I think it might be time to dig through the trailer cupboards. Although I have to admit I would be much more inclined if ours looked as snazzy as yours. Love the colour.

I have never drank coffee from one. I'm curious how it works with the grounds? It's definitely purrty though :)
I've never had coffee from a Percolator before. LOVE that one though. I have some Paula Deen cookware and I love it. ♥
Twins,
I would love your email address. I can't find it. Please email me at lifeaslori@yahoo.com I'm trying to help my friends. I promise.
My daddy and his sister both drank coffee from a percolator every day (and night) of their lives. He'd make a pot at home every morning, then in the evenings we'd go over to her house and she, her husband, and daddy would drink another pot. THEN they'd all fall hard and fast asleep!
