We've been busy bezzzz.

While some of you know I am a stay at home mom, Fern works four days a week for a drug and alcohol assessment business doing all the court papers for people with DUI's. She also started her own business a few years ago doing baby announcement signs. This is one of hers. Then the full time mom decided her and I should start a business together... she is one busy gal!

We have been very busy with orders so our blog has suffered. It has been mostly what we call our wedding sign that is in our Etsy shop. We had to make over a dozen of those with more orders to fill as summer is so busy with weddings. (Fern posted these pictures and the wedding sign pictures are on my camera.)

Here are a few other things we have been working on.

It's so fun being creative and spending time together.

So as busy as we both have been, we're not complaining.

We're also trying to get flowers planted and I want to paint at least 3 rooms in my house. Oh, and I made some new bedroom, no sew curtains that I'll blog about later.

With summer coming and kids home there is always more to do. We both usually have a house full of kids on any given day. I just keep the freezer stocked with pizzas and the pizza oven we keep in the garage is used on a daily basis.

I love the prayer sign, but I don't see it on your etsy shop. Will it be available anytime soon??

They are beautiful! I am setting up a home library and I would love one related to reading or books. Can you make one like that?

Hey you!!! I am so happy your business has taken off so well...the signs are beautiful! I need a rustic weathered kinda sign with my Blog name on it..I want to hang it out on the porch! Do you do that kind of stuff> let me know...anyway...thanks for coming by and about the cabinets...I used Ralph Lauren's Black Truffles...it is my favorite black....I just painted two coats and dried good between coats...no sanding or sealing and I used latex satin finish...easy as pie!

Remember when I first painted the oak cabinets I put two good coats of primer & then two coats of the creamy white paint and then glazed them with the ready made mocha glaze from Lowes...it took a long time but it was worth it....no sanding there either and I never use oil paint! Because they were already painted the black went on smooth as silk! Hope this helps answer your question sweetie...let me know about the sign...have a great weekend!
