Par-tay at Rhoda's

Twin and I don't go to a lot of yard sales and haven't been to any this year. We don't usually find any of the great stuff most of you all do such as those nice white plates. I did find this last year. I think it's from Southern Living at Home. Is that right?

I've had a cloche on it before. Now I just put a simple plant on it in the entry.

It's a very heavy piece. The ducks I just got from Marshall's. I thought they were sweet and I love the color of them. Come join the par-tay at Rhoda's. I'm sure there will be a lot of great yard sale finds.

that was me that wrote about filling a pot with other things other than dirt! lol
it is in a post called a pot to plant in...and what I use is either an inverted pot a little smaller...or styrofoam blocks from things my husband impulsively purchases! lol

I can't say that I've ever tried going to yard sales to find stuff for my house. I suppose since I'm not very good at "digging", that's why I don't try. It looks like you found something cute, that works perfectly on your table. I seem to do pretty well at Hobby Lobby, but that's a far cry from a yard sale :-)

The ducks are so cute! I just saw some at Target and I think the large one was about $20! I calmly walked away. Couldn't justify that to the hubby, you know?

You twins need to give yardsales a try, I promise there are some great things out there waiting to be found.
That's a cute little piece, thanks for playing today!

Yes, that barley twist pedestal is from Southern Living, and it is a classic piece. Can't believe someone was getting rid of it! I love twins...we have twin 3 year old granddaughters and they keep us laughing all the time at their antics - definitely double pleasure! Linda

Thankyou so much for your sweet comment! Now my twin sis has to get pregnant! I always thought that maybe she would get pregnant first, so I would know what to expect...looks like it is going to be the other way around, haha!
