Come join the PARTY!

Were joining the "Show Us Where You Live Friday" at Kelly's Korner.

I ( Fran )posted some of these pictures before to show how I replaced my broken stove with stainless and I'm waiting for the other appliances to go out. Did you notice I don't have any hardware on the cabinets? I change my mind A LOT and am afraid I'll choose something only to change my mind in a year. Ya gotta know me, I've painted the kitchen atleast 3 times in 10 years and am looking to replace my curtains for the 4th time.

Here's a close up of the canister set my kids got me for Christmas. They're Chris Madden from J.C.Penney. What I love about them is they hold a whole bag of flour or sugar and the seals are tight.

Don't these tulips shout "Spring"? We saw these at Pat's Back Porch Musings.
We just love the way she decorates. Jason from Evergreen Mfg was so sweet and we ordered what we wanted by phone and had them sent. I want to find some ferns and a different container for them but for now a vase will do. They're even prettier in person.

This is one side of the breakfast room. A desk wasn't in the original floor plan when we built our home but I had it added. Gotta have a place for all the bills!

This is the area across from the desk. I want to find more of the fabric I have in the dining room (see post below) and replace the rooster curtains. I didn't intentionally set out to have a rooster theme, I just couldn't find anything I loved at the time.

Well, this is the kitchen and breakfast room looking from the dining room. And this is the end of our tour! Don't be surprised if it looks different the next time you visit. I just can't help myself!

The tulips look great! I knew you would like Jason. I've been shopping Evergreen 6 or 7 years. He never forgets a customer/patron. Amazing! Very busy/popular place.

About the cabinet hardware. We had no cabinet knobs/pulls at the farm and lived in that house 20 years. At this house, I decided wood knobs would be fine with me. We have just now put knobs on the cabinet doors at the lake, but I still haven't decided about the drawer pulls!! I really procrastinate on that sort of thing.

Such a nice kitchen and the good info on the canisters, I just use them for cracker packs and cereal bars. Didn't know if the seal was tight enough. Thanks for checking out my kitchen!

Thanks for checking out my kitchen! I didn't plan on a rooster theme either. I usually stay away from themes, but I liked the rooster valance at Lowe's and the rest is history. I LOVE your canisters! And your tulips are so beautiful!
