We love these as much as our glue gun or our black spray paint. You can find them at WalMart by the material.
Have you heard of T-pins? That's what we call them anyway. They are the best for hanging anything on your walls without leaving a big hole like a nail. The wrought iron above has a real plant and dirt in it and is held up with a T-pin.
Same with this picture.
Do you see the T-pin that holds the plate rack up? They come in different sizes. Just use a small one for the lightweight things and larger for heavy items. I learned about these at a Home Interior party and I think the consultant said the biggest one holds something like 15 pounds!
If you make a mistake when hanging something, don't worry they only leave a small pin hole in your walls. They are w-o-n-d-e-r-f-u-l. You too will heart T-pins. P.S. I FORGOT TO TELL YOU I HAVE NEVER PUT A T-PIN IN A STUD. IT MAY BREAK BECAUSE THEY AREN'T AS THICK AS A NAIL. I JUST PUT IT DIRECTLY INTO THE DRYWALL AND THEY WORK FINE.

Well that's interesting. I've seen T pins but I had no idea you could hang things on them!
wow,, i have lots of these things but never thought to use them for that. thanks for the tip!
I have seen T-pins but never knew they could be used to hang stuff with! I have used straight pins...which work for little things...but never T-pins. I will be purchasing some of those! Thanks!!
You've taught me something!
I remember those from the days when we all wore wigs. At night, we'd slip the wig on a styrofoam head and stick it with a T-pin. Thanks for sharing.
This is great. I have hung things for years on just straight pins...amazing how much they will bear.
Hoping you have received my payment by now..Be sure to let me know. I always worry until I know it has arrived...

Oh my husband would love if I used these instead of the hammer and nails. You don't even want to see some of my mistake holes behind the picture in our bedroom.
I'll have to pick up some of these too. I normally use little nails, but I bet these work great for smaller things.
On painting the vanity in my bathroom, that is Ralph Lauren Satin paint called Turret Stair (from HD). It's a deep chocolate brown, so yes, it almost looks black. I primed my vanity first with regular primer, BUT they now have a primer esp. for laminate, so if I was doing anything else, I'd get that. Prime, paint 2 coats of paint. Easy!
Thanks for stopping by!
I love T-pins too! :) Great blog!
